For years, the No Frills on Front Street has been a lifeline for the working-class areas of Moss Park and The Esplanade. In a city of unaffordable groceries, the relative (keyword 'relative') affordability of no-frills can be of unimaginable importance.

Seemingly small, this story was covered by the compass to show that everyday survival for the working class in Toronto is constantly under threat, even in the most mundane ways.
